Looking for information on the Mills of Fife

Can anyone tell me where I can find more information on the Mills and Mill workers of Fife?
Trying to find out info on the female family side of a great grandfather who was a hand Loom Weaver.

If he was a hand loom weaver does that no mean he was working from home?
Lawrie name in Fife (and elsewhere) with all its various spellings.

I traced back to Falkland in Fife but no other leads

On the female side of the family Andrew Armit married Margaret Mill in Falkland church 16th August 1833. Both were weavers.

Andrew's parents John Armit and Mary Armit- Mary Armit I cannot make out what her maiden name was on paper I have.

Marion's parents- John Mill and Margaret Mill m.s McLaren, John Mill was also a weaver.
