Cynefin : Mapping Wales’ sense of Place
« on: Friday 03 July 15 22:25 BST (UK) »
The Cynefin Project (led by Archives Wales) aims to digitise more than 1100 tithe maps and transcribe over 36,000 apportionment documents and link them to the relevant location on the map. The work is to be completed by the end of September 2016.

It is already an incredible online resource, and I have become one of the volunteers to help transcribe the maps and records. The payback to me, was detailed information about the location of some of my ancestors, as you can choose which area you transcribe, and how much or how little you do.
I can already see the benefit of this project to family historians when it is completed.
