What is the address on your  grandad's birth certificate? Does it compare with 1911?

Heywood
The address is miles out from the birth certificate.  Sorry!

Thank you for your hard work and help.

I can see Rose in earlier censuses with her parents and siblings.
A witness to the marriage was Edith Coles. Is this a sister in law?

Do you have Rose Margaret's birth certificate?

I know I'm like a 'dog with a bone'  :)

However are you quite sure that the Wilfred Wallace Wickham from Battle went to New Zealand?

Here is the Fuller/Wickham family in 1901 -

William Fuller   56
Harriet Fuller   53
Gilbert Fuller   18
Wallace Fuller   16
Peter Fuller   12
Stanley Fuller   10
Rachel Fuller   8
Leah Fuller   5

RG13; Piece: 876; Folio: 8; Page: 8

On 6 Dec 1908 the following people are recorded on the immigration records for New Zealand -

Mr Wm Fuller
Mrs H Fuller
Mr S Fuller
Miss R Fuller
Miss L Fuller

The names tie in with the 1901, there is no Wilfred Wallace on the above immigration record, equally some of his siblings can be found on further records in England, so not all the family went to New Zealand  ???

So, if the Rose and Edith (child) who are in the indexes are not yours, presumably, your family are not at the same address as Wilfred's birth in 1911?

Sorry to keep going on.
I am trying to find Rose and Rose M in 1911.
Walter and Rose married in Wandsworth district. 1907
Rose Margaret, 1908 and Wilfred, 1912 were born in Wandsworth district.

1911 indexes have a Rose in the same district but that isn't her, you say.

If Walter was not at the same address on Wilfred's birth certificate, was there no father named? Thus indicating  that the couple were already separated.
