hodges, kendall or feacon
« on: Wednesday 08 July 15 14:47 BST (UK) »
I have David Patrick son of William and Mary Tilley born 1735 lubenham.
Then I found a marriage on the Parish reg for him to a
Frances Hadges/Hodges in 1758.

Can then find no children or anything for them.
Until I find a death for a Frances Patrick wife of David Patrick in 1781.

Browsing every possible source I can.... I find no trace of this Frances Hodges (?)  but do find
a David Patrick supposedly the same one married to a Frances Kendall/Feacon with children.

Now they are too early for census and my 'pdf' of Parish reg's in the areas are not helping.

So how do I finish this line!?  which is correct and did he marry again or did she change her name or what!!!! sorry to be a pain      -     but it sure is confusing :)

xin

just away to double check for a birth for a Francis Hodges/hadges in the area.. (yet again :)

I put a search in as

lubenham david patrick genealogy

and a pdf came up that I wondered if you had come across. It's more about earlier origins but there is a son William 1697-1767

It's the first search result

I tried to get in the website listed in the results but it wouldn't let me in, went round in circles so didn't look at all of them. The pdf is brilliant :)

Yes it is fantastic, but it wont let me in either.... so I don't know how his Joseph and Mary fit.
And worse, I haven't as yet got them in my tree..  darn it... but it is MY DAVID so that is fantastic, all his dates tally with what I have for David and his wife Frances and the Boddileys etc etc.. and to actually see the work gone into it is wonderful..
You are a gem, for getting me sorted .. :)

Last week the previous connection you found for me, went trooping off to Lubenham and spent a day photographing the headstones in the Church yard.

So its wonderful to be filling out the tree like this.

trouble is now......... (oh dear :) :)  :o

I am probably going to be related to ...'ME'  cos
My Fathers Patrick line on his mothers side is great and it does now seem to stem from Scotland..
but guess what....  I have Patricks on Fathers - Fathers side as well... whoops... :) :)

all good fun
