Carr Family Ballinalost Fanad Donegal
« on: Wednesday 08 July 15 20:06 BST (UK) »
Hi
I'm looking for info on my gt gt grandfather John Carr (this branch of the Carr's were known as the John Owen's) John is on the 1901 census aged 80 stating he is a farmer. Any info on this family would be very welcome, I believe the house he lived in is now a ruin but still there. Some of his daughters moved to Derry these were Mary and Annie and I believe a third daughter Ellen also. Mary married William Cassidy.....Annie never married but owned a fruit and veg shop in Derry I don't have any info on Ellen.
Also on the 1901 census it states his son John and daughter Kate (Kitty) lived with him, they were both in there 30's.
Kind Regards argyle

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

I presume at some stage you will post links to them on Census as it saves others looking up stuff you already have.
