I have no information on her past before arriving in Australia owing to the fact she was free.I am hoping someone has names of persons on ship.Maybe a list from UK of convicts leaving for the colony.

The 1823-1825 muster lists an Elizabeth Fisher aged 12 daughter of Jno Fisher, and also a Rebecca Fisher aged 19, spinstress, both arrived on the Lord Sidmouth in 1823.

Is your Elizabeth Fisher the one who married James May in 1824?

Per newspaper reports the Lord Sidmouth carried 21 free women, with 47 children, who had been sent out to join their husbands.

A couple more possible family members from the 1823-25 muster:

Jemima Fisher 12 Fortune 1819 daughter of Jno Fisher, Sydney
Sarah Fisher do Lord Sidmouth 1823 wife of Jno Fisher, Sydney

It looks as though there are some mistranscriptions of ages (and possibly ships) in the collation of this muster, but at least we have some names to go on.
