The GRO (Ireland) very kindly carried out a search in their archives for both James Cameron and his wife Isobella Mooney between the years 1921 (when the married) and 1944 (when it was recorded on their son Alans marriage certificate that his father was deceased). There were no recorded deaths registered in Ireland for either.

Would I assume from this that they left Ireland?

Hi, I came across the death in Ontario, Canada for an Isabella Cameron in 1931 which looked interesting. The informant's last name looked to be Robbie (I may be reading it wrong). He says he's an Uncle but I wondered as the info is a bit sketchy for an Uncle, so I wondered. Trying all leads, Kim
