Marriage of Henry & Jean Horlock, Stourpaine

Hello everyone!

I've been trying to get a date of marriage and a maiden name for Henry and Jean Horlock who had a son Thomas, baptised August 2, 1781 in Stourpaine.

Unfortunately, the transcriptions I have of the Registers of Stourpaine end in 1752 and so am only assuming that they were married in Stourpaine as Henry was baptised there on May 1, 1755.

I'm guessing that the marriage took place one to two years before Thomas was born in around 1778-1780 range - again just my suspicions!

Any help in getting the marriage information would be gratefully appreciated - I should point out that in the transcription of the Registers of Stourpaine that I have by Edward Alexander Fry, Horlock is written as Horlick...

There was also a baptism for a Thomas with parents Henry & Jane in Durweston in May 1780

Maybe this was also their son and he died in infancy. 

Marriages normally take place in the parish the bride was resident

Milliepede, I do have those dates but thanks for taking the time out to reply to my post.... Rosie99, thanks for the information - a Thomas Horlick died in Stourpaine on July 6 1780 so I'm assuming that was the same child. My Thomas was then born a year later....

I had a look in the Durweston transcriptions on the Dorset OPC website but could not find a marriage between Henry and Jean/Jane... and so the quest continues!
