Thank you Despair for this info. Yes, I have seen this info a few years ago but had forgotten about it, so therefore I have taken a snippet from the document.

"Now, he notes with some pride, his stocking levels almost exactly match those of celebrated 18th Century "herbalist and bonesetter" Owen Rowlands, who specialised in treating septic sores and ulcers using herbs gathered from his land at Blaen-y-Nant.

 Many doctors of the time tried unsuccessfully to obtain the secret of Dr Rowlands' herbal cures, known as "brwyn-ddail y mynydd" - "leaves of the mountain rushes".

To correct my earlier mistake-in the will of William Abraham(1754),his daughter Jane is married to Rowland William.These are the parents of Owen Rowland and the father Rowland William also has his will(1774) at NLW in which Owen is an executor.Sorry for the error.
