i am trying to find out whether i can find some criminal records for my great great great uncle benjamin spilsbury 1843 1896 birmingham. on ancestry he has various convictions  and also a newspaper clipping on a court case cruelty to animals. i am wondering if there is any other sites i could look up .kath

Find My Past has some on Benjamin Spilsbury alias Edward Kelly alias Thomas Harper.
His occupation was a Filer. Age   38  Birth year   1844

we  are the spilsburys from plymouth ,my father is raymond spilsbury he is a decendant of sir bernard spilsbury,a member of our family researched our history and the surname spilsbury was spilsburgen which changed to spilsburg then spilsbury ,we are also related to klinton spilsbury who was the actor who starred in a remake of the lone ranger  his father is an american sports coach
