It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

There's more!  Going even further left arrow and past a few records for the Welsh Snook, we find more of our man that clearly show attestation 8 Dec 1915, joined 2 August 1917.  I'd say that cements Ken's info.  His demob date in Jul 19 is also recorded.
