Hello,
I recently did some research into women and children transported to Australia. It made me wonder if my distant grandmother on my mother's side was one such woman. She was Charlotte Wynne and married James Horwood at St Pauls church Ballarat, Victoria, Australia on the 2nd May 1860. The death certificate says she was born in Carlow Ireland. The hand writing is a bit blurred but her mother was Mary Whitemore or Whiteacre and they were farmers. I was wondering if this is the same Charlotte Wynne.

Katy, the Charlotte Wynne I am researching was married to James Horwood.  They were my husband's 2nd gr grandparents.  I can't seem to find anything in Ancestry regarding Mary Whitemore.  Maybe needs more records to be added to finally find her birth.

No sorry I don't.  I only have what people have said in these posts.  As mentioned when given the mother's name from the death cert in the post before yours - but it still isn't filling in any blanks.  I have put her in my tree as the mother but with a question mark till I can confirm with a paper trail.

Charlotte Wynne's father is named on the marriage certificate but the hand writing is blurry so  can't really read it. Charlotte and James had 4 living children; Thomas George, John Henry, Anne and Charlotte. I am from the John Henry linage.
