Does that seem to be the family in 1841 I posted  ???

George Jnr. aged 8 seems likely to be a grandson.

I wonder if there were other siblings for Alexander as there's a big gap in the ages, 27, 25 & 12 ::)

Thanks for all your help everyone Iwill look into these leads will need to get to the library tomorrow, I checked out the connection with the Urquhart family and it wasn't the right parents for daughter. I think by the time 1941 census Alexander Innes might be living away from home maybe working in another farm not sure, will keep looking thanks Lesley
