Wow, thanks Geoff-E, almost worth a 3rd trip to England for me.  It's 36 years since my last visit.
It is good to see just where she lies. I wonder if she fell ill on the voyage, or did she die in childbirth?  I think her mother-in-law was Eliza, and whilst there is an Eliza buried there, the age does not line up (20 odd years out). Still I am more interested in Clara's details. I cannot find her death on An...try. I thought a death cert may reveal the cause of death. Brown is such a common name. On the 1881 census, Eliza is head of the household and no spouse. So I think she may have remarried to a Mr Maxwell. Hence George Edward's hyphenated name of Maxwell-Brown.

Hello all, I have just realized I made a mistake in my original post. It was WILLIAM Edward Maxwell-Brown that Clara married, not GEORGE Edward Maxwell-Brown. Apologies, Bob

Sorry about the link, I was in a hurry as I was on my way out, I  managed to insert an extra R in heritage. I really must learn not to try and do things when I am rushing to go out :)
