Thanks again to all those who have given advice and help. The map is particularly interesting, wonder if anyone has similar, either earlier or later so I can compare.  Can't believe what a great forum this is, such speedy replies.

When I contacted Land Registry I was sent ordinance survey maps of the premises I was interested in with an overlay from 3 decades as the Public House I was interested in was currently demolished to make way for Dockland expansion.
