I haven't had chance to log on today before now, but I certainly wasn't expecting to see this much!! Yet again Willsy, thank you so much for all your searching on my behalf, I honestly cant express how much I appreciate it   

Id quickly looked for Horace the other day and think he may be in an industrial school, but with work & family I've been so busy haven't been able to dig any further as yet.

I'm certainly going to have a busy weekend though, aren't I?  And Xin, thanks for the offer of helping with my Leicester geography - I may yet need it as modern Google maps can only help so much and the Gibson's / Clarke's certainly liked to move from church to church.

I'm hoping to take early retirement next year so a visit to Leicester is definitely on the cards.  I can trace the Gibson's back to the mid 1700's in Twyford so I'm really looking forward to seeing there too.  This is my dad's paternal side and I'd love to take him with me and tell him the story of who and where he came from, but time is against me on that score so all of this help is just invaluable.
