I'd like to update the Axe family tree with both dates and facts about the Axes descended from Henry Axe 1826-1906. Can anyone help? Very happy to share information on the related Axes from England.

From the listing of their children on the 1880 census, they appear to have lived in Connecticut:

The 1880 census shows that the youngest, Walter was born circa 1873 in CT, so they didn't head to Kansas till after his birth.

The 1900 census states that Caroline is the mother of 6 children with 6 still living.  They state that they immigrated in 1854 and have been married 47 years.

Caroline Head was born in Heddington, Wiltshire, England to James and Matilda Oliver Head on 5 Jan 1828 and christened on 3 Feb 1828 in Calstone, Wiltshire, England.
The family emigrated to the United States in 1852 arriving in New York and settled originally in Connecticut, where she met Henry. Henry Axe had another wife in England previous to Caroline, by the name of Martha Brown Axe. Henry Axe's first wife was named Sarah Martha Horn and lived until 1871, there is no evidence that Henry Axe and Sarah Martha divorced, so if Henry Axe did indeed marry Caroline Head before 1871 then he would have committed bigamy. There has not been any evidence found about a marriage between Henry and Caroline. (Source Find A Grave)

The younger son Clifford Axe born 19 May 1890 and passed away 7 May 1939 married to Fannie Baker.
