Hi

The first thing is to get this posting into the correct county.  :'(
[ I'll ask a moderator ]

There is a potential birth match . . . . .
Birth Dec 1902 St. Albans 3a 721 Robert Paterson
(St Peters & Colney Heath are StAlbans)

Very easy mistake to make, only one letter different.

Oak Farm is postcode AL4 9HR. Use Streetmap.co.uk to pinpoint where it is now?

Hi

It's probably worth checking the HALS indices.
http://www.hertsdirect.org/services/leisculture/heritage1/hals/indexes/
Just use Paterson and post-1900.

There's one or two interesting Paterson entries, especially as they owned a sizeable farm.
His baptism is listed.

According to the probate calendar she was a widow and left a will and a sizeable estate which might make interesting reading
