Robert Paterson and wife Eva married in Scotland - you can buy credits on Scotlands People to see the actual certificate:

Robert Paterson 26   Farmer of Oak Farm, St. Albans, Hertfordshire married Eva Arthur 20 on 25/6/1929 Kirkintilloch, Dumbarton.   His parents given as Robert Paterson, Farmer (deceased) and Margaret nee Slimon and hers as John Nichol Arthur, Dentist and Evaline nee Robb.

Witnesses were Ella J. Bain, Ivybank, Kirkintilloch and James C. Slimmon of Marshalwick, St. Albans.

Yes Ray,  That Will did prove to be great reading and proved Robert and Eva had two sons, Robert John Paterson and David.   Next step.... to trace them.  Thanks so much you two have been wonderful.  I have traced a number of their cousins on the Slimmons family side. So Im making great progress now I believe.   Happy Days.
