Memorial Plaque (medallion)

My friend aske me would his relative received a memorial plaque if he was in the RNR
and died at sea. Can anyone help?
His Name was Henry Humphray  and he was a stoker on the HMS  indefatigable and was lost in action 1916

The Memorial Plaque was issued after the First World War to the next-of-kin of all British and Empire service personnel who were killed as a result of the war.


The RNR was a service so his next of kin would have been sent a plaque, plus scroll.
