O'Donnell's Buncrana Donegal
« on: Friday 24 July 15 19:46 BST (UK) »
I have the following information on some ancestors and thought I would share to see if anyone shares the same family:

James O'Donnell Married Catherine Carr (I dont have a date) both were probably born in the early to mid 1840's or so
They had 9-13 children I believe.
They had a daughter named Bridget, born around 1864-66 who moved to Pittsburgh, PA. (no birth record)
Another daughter named Sarah born in 1868 moved to Pittsburgh (no birth record)

I have birth notices for the following children:

Charles O'Donnell born 1 Feb 1867 Buncrana
John O'Donnell Born 7 Jan 1870 Buncrana
Possibly Mary O'Donnell born 13 July 1871 (I say possibly because the mother's name Carr is transcribed as Kerr. Could be a mistake or could be the wrong family. Same with the 2 names below).
James O'Donnell born 23 Feb 1864
Mary born 1871-1872

Thanks!

Carr and Kerr are just different versions of the same surname  :)
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Sorry for taking so long to thank both of you for the input. I thought Carr and Kerr could be the same, or maybe it was transcribed incorrectly.
I have checked the census and have two possible leads but it is difficult to determine if it is the same family.
I have also checked the microfilm online and found nothing
