Help with Maiden name?

I'm having trouble making out the maiden surname on this certificate - Catherine M****nic?

I see what you mean, as there isn't an obvious "c". However, Mc/Mac is also sometimes found as "M'" (M apostrophe) so maybe it was intended to be M'Carnic.
