It would certainly explain why I couldn't find them.  I always forget the d....d army.

Looks like Marjorie A Sowry married a Sidney J Slater 1925 Derby District, she died 1956 Derby aged 57.

Hi

There is a death in 1919 of a Francis F Sowryaged 50 in the same district as Marjorie A marries.

There are two other marriages in that district which could be the other children of Francis and Frances Mary

Dec Qtr 1929 Derby District

CECIE W(inifred) Sowry to Leslie G Streten ( Cecie W Streten died 1968 Derby aged 63)
FLORENCE G Sowry to Charles Lee.

There is a birth Registration of a Cecie Winifred Sowry in 1905  Sculcoates, Yorkshire.
Possible birth registration of a Florence G(wendolene) Sowry in 1902 Medway Kent.

Spot on Claire - just found a bit I didn't see before on his army papers, his marriage and birth of children. Sorry, I could have saved you time searching.

Florence Gwendolene Sowry is the daughter of Francis and Frances Mary. She was born 26 Oct. 1902 and bapt. 12 November 1902.

On his discharge papers in 19th November 1910 he gives his intended place of residence as:

In 1901 this family were at 132, Blackman Lane, Leeds. Possibly his brother?

The three children are also registered in Army Births and Baptisms.

I can't find any trace of Frances or the children after their births until her death and their marriages.
