Can anyone improve these pictures please ?

These pictures are my Uncle and I have tried improving them but they end up looking worse. A cousin in Australia has recently posted them on Facebook. This is the only one I have of him in WW2 army uniform.  The other one I know was taken in Australia just after WW2.
Any help appreciated
