Death record, Last address was Carrickmickcross

I have a general idea when my 2nd great grandmother died after 1923.   Where would I start looking in Monaghan?  Last address was Carrickmickcross.

Have you tried looking on this link.  County Monaghan records included up to 1958.  Try Carrickmacross in space for "Residence"

Thank you for the helpful information.   Two other questions - Would a death record be listed in maiden name or marriage name.   Once, I have found the index - where do I go from there?   Thanks for all your help.
