Sounds good to me - Christopher was a decorator in the 1881 census.

He appears to have the same wife from 1851 to 1891.  He was only 22 in 1851.   

When do you think the other marriage may have occurred - before Mary Ann?

I see this as being the same Christopher in 1841

no father figure there unfortunately but there is a baptism for young Christopher 14 Dec 1828 with parents Christopher and Mary. 
Looking at the census entry for Mary a name has been crossed out and hers written in and the name ends with "pher" so probably Christopher.

There's one for Mary Ann as well.  Died 18 Aug 1895 wife of Christopher.  Administration to the said Christopher decorator.
