seek a possible baptism in Soho (?)
« on: Friday 31 July 15 12:41 BST (UK) »
On the 24 June 1855 1856 at 53 Greek St, Soho, London, Anna Elizabeth PLIMMER was born to Edward PLIMMER (musician) and Anna (nee BEXFIELD, a vocalist - and sister of the composer William Richard BEXFIELD).

I am unfamiliar with the area and do not know if or where Anna Elizabeth PLIMMER was baptised, as by 1861 the family are living at Rome Lane, Chatham, Kent. By 1871 she and her mother are living in  Alfred Street, Preston, Lancs and in 1881 they are at North Pavement, Barnsley, Yorks. Anna Elizabeth married in Glasgow, Scotland in 1883 and sadly died there in 1892.

She made her first stage appearance in November 1862 as "Infant Anna" and her final appearance as a solo “serio-comic and dancer” (pre c1883) was the famed “Man in the Moon” role.

Any help most welcome, thank you.

Nothing obvious showing up in Westminster or LMA baptisms for Plimmer or Anna Elizabeth.

Having seen the marriage in 1855 in Liverpool, they most probably didn't stay put long enough to get around to it in Westminster.
