particularly my great grandfather, John William , and his son John William B. Chandler.

(there are a number of Edwin CHANDLER and Ellen FLETCHER baptisms on the Gloucestershire Baptism Index)

On GENI there is a contributor which states Ellen CHANDLER c1830 died 1907 Stroud, occupation: Woollen Spinner - and mother of Emily Ellen Allen

John, s/o Samuel & Keturah CHANDLER, a Labourer of Picked Elm, 18th March 1832.
Samuel, s/o Samuel & Keturah CHANDLER, a Labourer of Stanley End, 23rd March 1834.

Thanks for your information on the Chandlers of King's Stanley. In 2009, there was a request on this forum entitled "what happened to Harriet?". It appears that Harriet was JW Chandler's second wife. One reply was from "Bryan", also a great grandson of JWC. If he reads this, I would be delighted to hear from him. Thanks again.  BryH.
