Can anyone help me to trace the birth and family of (*). She married (*) in Swansea in March 1945. The only trace of a (*) takes me to the USA. So any help would be appreciated. ???

Since the marriage took place during WWII she could have been American. Any clues on the marriage certificate? if she was here in a military capacity details might be shown there.
Any clues on death certificate? no information from relatives?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Then you don't have the marriage certificate? Are you sure she is deceased?

Just going to post the 1963 entry. In view of the date then my reference to WWII may not apply.

Once again, Bathonian, especially in view of the 1963 date, can you confirm this person is no longer living?

Apologies all round. I think I must have had a senior moment. (*) did in fact marry (*) in 1963 in Swansea. She married a second cousin, I believe. The 1945 I inserted was his date of birth. I was told that she wasn't still alive, and I was trying to follow up on this. Sorry for the misinformation. I can see that if my information was incorrect this could be a problem

There is a lady in Swansea with the same first name and initial but the first name is spelt slightly differently.

Her husband has the same name you posted.

If this is the same lady, she was born in 1945 but had a different birth surname but there aren't any other births with the same first name and initials in the birth index.

Unless you have evidence to the contary we have to assume that your person of interest is still alive and so I'll edit the topic to remove her name.
