My Great Great Grandfather James Boyd was born circa 1811 in or around the township of Castlegore in Co Antrim. He had a brother Daniel who was born in 1822. James Boyd married Margaret(surname unknown) in the early 1840's. They had their first child in 1843. James died in 1873 in Castlegore and Margaret in Belfast in 1911. From the Griffiths Valuation I can see that James farmed plot 30 at Castlegore. Other family members farmed adjacent sites. To date I have been unable to find my Great Great Grandmothers maiden name and I have been unable to find any information prior to my G G Grandfathers birth. I would appreciate any suggestions.
