I am looking for relatives/parents for the above. Bridge was born about 1836 and was transported to Hobart Tasmania in 1851 after being tried for stealing at Limerick. Any information prior to this trial would be appreciated .

Cheers

Do you have the newspaper notice from Jan 15th 1851 about the sentence for stealing geese from Dennis Dwyer with Johanna O'Leary and Catherine McNamara?

Now that you've posted 3 times you can use the Private Message function.   I will message you.

I can help with the newspaper article - I have found a second one - the three of them stole twenty geese.  She certainly was young to be transported, but one of the articles has a lad fourteen
I think being transported and mentions a fuss from relatives who were present.  If I was his mother and present for the sentencing I would have difficulty maintaining my composure.

Thanks I have that information on her transportation. Also have her records from the ship and up to her pardon in Hobart. Apparently she was a very good convict.
