There are loads of records available, as flst has mentioned, but not many of them are online.  You may need to contact local archives for more information as they might hold records which will help.  You can use the Scottish Archive Network catalogue to see what's out there!  It can be found at www.scan.org.uk

SP are the main people for Scottish records & you may have noted that you cannot view any Scottish records anywhere else.

FindMyPast & Ancestry only give transcriptions of them.
