Charabanc 1889 / 1900
« on: Saturday 15 August 15 11:28 BST (UK) »
I have a group photo of people sitting on a Charabanc. Believed to have been taken on Guernsey (at St. Peter's Port) around 1889 or 1900.   The woman in the front row marked X1 is Catherine Glenen Richards Smart and her husband, marked X2, is Thomas Baxter Smart.  We are unable to identify, for certain, who the woman on the far right, marked X3, may be.  The soldier in the background is William Baxter Smart.  Other family members living on Guernsey at the time have surnames listed below.  We are hoping someone may be able to identify a family member in this photo (on the chance that  copies of this picture around).
The surnames we know that may be in this picture are: Smart, Richards, Glenen, Chivret, Maindonald, Sauvarin, and Galliene.
Long shot I know but stranger things have happened.
