Juvenile Court Shirehall Norwich of 1949
« on: Friday 21 August 15 11:08 BST (UK) »
I wonder if anyone can offer some guidance for me as to where I might find information/records from 1949 of the "Juvenile court Shirehall Norwich, "Petty Sessions Division".
Thanks.

Hi Blue-Spirit
They told me at the Forum (Norwich) today that these records are available to view at the Norfolk Record Office, just checked them out online at NROCAT

Thank you kindly Yokel, That's very helpful. Not sure when I can get up there but hopefully soon.
In addition to the original " Juvenile court Shirehall Norwich, "Petty Sessions Division",
I found some extra details with the above, "Petty Sessions Division Of Taverham".
I hope your findings may well include this..

kind regards..

You're welcome

If your reference to the "Petty Sessions Division Of Taverham" is from The National Archives
ref PS 9/6/4, they are also held at the NRO

Thank you once again Yokel, that's such a help and will be making a visit to the records office soon.

With your knowledge I wonder if I could ask if you can help in another search as I have tried to search myself for the below but with no results.

Looking for details for "East Harling Magistrates, Quarter Sessions" 1947-1948

Kind regards.

Sorry
Can't find any reference to those Quarter Sessions.

Don't forget to give the NRO a call before you go to order the items you want, that will save you waiting for them.

I kinda thought it might be me searching wrongly, but as you can't find them as well, It  might be I need more details.

Never thought about calling the NRO first, great idea.
Thank you once again Yokel, very grateful.
