WARRIOR SQUARE, St. Leonard's-on-Sea
« on: Saturday 22 August 15 11:03 BST (UK) »
Anyone have local history knowledge of Warrior Square?
Is today's number 38 the same as in 1900?
I once read that the square had been renumbered sometime in the early 20th-century, but cannot find the source.  Can anyone confirm this?
Many thanks indeed.

Good morning,

I would say that the no's are the same now as when built. However, saying that you will not find no 38.

No's 34 to 46 were demolished and replaced by a huge block of flats. By the style I would say late 50s or 60s although could be later. That may be the change of numbering you have heard of.
