I am having trouble finding James/Ellen Chapman in 1911.

1901 James is born c 1892 Whitechapel (Middlesex)
His Occp is dittoed from William Tomlins (General Dealer/Earthenware)

1911/1901 William Tomlin is married to a Catherine Baselock Tomlin
1881/1891 to a Rosina

Marriage is on FreeBMD 1900, she is Catherine Basstock    BAILEY

I was hoping she may be Ellens Mother!

1891 in  we have in Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire;
William Bailey, 64, Head, Mar, Ag Lab, born Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire
Catherine B Bailey, 53, Wife, Mar, born Bloomsbury, London

Sorry cant connect the Family to Bowsers/Chapmans so far.

Maybe someone can look up the 1903 Marriage for you

Its all very confusing!!!

Why is this child with these people when it would seem that she's not related to anyone, i'm wondering if i will need to get her birth cert also now!

I thought i'd have a little search on Ancestry for Rosina Chapman there are 2 in the 1911 census that caught my eye!

On the first one it would seem there is one with my Florence Helen Bowser but there is a second census with a Rosina Chapman age 5 and her mother and father are a James and Ellen Chapman! there's also a Kaite Chapman aged 3 but what really caught my eye on this census is there is a Jane Bowser Aged 78 and widowed!

Ive looked on a couple more census's for this Jane and it would appear that they she had daughter called Ellen! Oh how i'm hoping this could be the people I'm looking for

Hi again the Ellen I can see with a Jane Bowser married to a Thomas was born c 1866 how old was the Ellen Chapman in 1911?

I'm not sure about Ellen but i know James was down as 19 on the 1901 Census

Hi again so if James was born c 1882 is it likely he married an Ellen b c 1866?

The Marriage i was going from was for a Ellen Bowser Marrying a James Thomas Chapman 1903 but it does not state there birth years

I think i will need to get her birth cert because it is possible that she's not joined to these people in anyway. It just seems odd she isn't down with someone with at least the same last name as her in any census
