R.A. Bird Tunbridge Wells

Im looking for any information about a Mr R.A. Bird and his wife. I don't know what "R.A" is as he is just referred to by initials in directories and his wife, who was a member of the Tunbridge Wells Choral Society in the 1960's is referred to only as 'mrs R.A. Bird'. R.A. Bird is found in directories in T.Wells from 1934 to 1969 as a having a music and record shop at 3 Vale Road where he also sold gramophones and radios in the 1934-1948 period and 1955-1969 just music and records.

Any family information would be appreciated. He does not appear in t.Wells directories before 1934 and his advertisement of 1934 says his shop on Vale Road was "late Rabson".

Thanks for the information. This could be the man and I expect it is. Yes his shop may have continued after his death under his name until circa 1969.

Heres his Marriage, They had a Son in 1929 who may well be still with us so have not shown details.
