1851 Suffolk Census CD ROM Wanted
« on: Monday 24 August 15 16:23 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am looking for the 1851 census CD ROM produced by the Suffolk FHS.
I have contacted them but they no longer sell it.

Does anyone have a copy they are willing to sell?

Thanks very much.
James

Hi James

What does the cd version have that the online versions don't?

The versions produced by family history societies (FHS)
tend to be far more accurately transcribed than
the online versions.

The FHS versions were made by volunteers themselves
genealogists whereas the online ones are outsourced
commercially.
