hi was wondering if anyone could help me found gomer  annetts but on his birth its written down as gomer annits 1836 Pontypool Monmouthshire found his death  Jun 1934 in Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales spelled right cant find him anywere else been looking a long time so any help please 1871 /1881/1891/1901 /1911 thanks jimmyboy

Is that a typo - should it be 1864 if he was 70 when he died?

What was his father's name? Could this be him using the name George - I can't see a George Annetts born at that time?

hi thanks George annetts is his brother and William annetts is theyer father but cant find theyer father or the other children form 1871 found father after 1881 with 2 children George and Thomas I found 7 children sarah b1856 my ggm / matilda b1856/john b 1859/ gomer b1863/George b 1864/ Thomas 1868/ William henry b 1875 / found most later in life but cant find anything 1871 they all were born in Mamhilad, Monmouth, Wales but cant find them jimmyboy

I couldn't find him either, that's why I wondered if he and Gomer were the same person.

hi no birth for George but found death for gomer most of the childrens birth records last name spelled wronge  cant find sarah in the 1861 or 1871 cens found her in 1877 when she gets married you think there would be some records ? jimmyboy

I wouldn't rule out George and Gomer being one and the same especially as the supposed dates of birth are so close together. George is George G in that census. Perhaps he just preferred George to Gomer, but his real name was used on his death certificate.

I wonder if this is Sarah in 1871 5332/12/4

Sarah Haunts 15 yrs a servant b Mamhilad
She is transcribed as Haunts but it looks like Hanute  :-\
