Hi
The birth cert and baptismal cert I have is for the child who was named Anne also (we physically have these certs) we were trying to find birth cert for the mother,of the child i understand its confusing.
In the mothers baptismal cert (which we only traced online) the address given was Rathmine Mount Pleasant.

I do understand what you say about threading carefully i can assure you we are. As we to want to find that missing link to say for sure we are correct here.
Maggie Dalton adopted the child (Anne) but we know very little else only she lived at 91?? Mount Pleasant Buildings.
The Brother is not her natural brother but is also in the dark as to how his adoptive sister came about all he knew was there was a girl in trouble and Maggie Dalton took over.

With no records of Josephine/Anne in the rotunda we were starting to wonder was the shankill address a red herring.

Hi There

I would just like to point out this family in 1911.

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Dublin/Rathmichael/Tillystown_Town/94136/

Tillystown is beside New Vale Shankill.

There is a Margaret JOSEPHINE Kelleher born in Rathdown in 1914.

Just another angle to look at.

Hi Tara
I did see this family but something kept drawing us to the Harcourt street family i have done what you suggested to ask thread to be moved to Dublin board and i guess a trip to the registry offices will also need to happen. Thank you very much for you help so far it has been very useful and food for thought.

Super,

So it's a defo address.

Well,

Margaret's husband was called Henry Dalton and they were still there in 1964 at that same address.

There is a 1922 marriage to a possible MARGARET Reid.
