Thanks for your input Annie and KGarrad.

Annie - suspected it meant Highlanders but just wanted confirmation.

KGarrad - there is nothing else engraved on the trophy to give any clue.

It's about 10 inches tall - so not too small.

Right on the base it's stamped/marked.

A G & Co    then a mark like a St. George's Cross  then a faint  S
