Please restore my great grandfather's Acie picture

My grandmother who is 84 years old is the last living child of my great grandfather and I would like her to have a picture of her father as all the original pictures of her parents were destroyed in a fire.

Hi Nikki and welcome to Rootschat...your photo is a very small file as only 7kb in order to give you the best possible outcome it needs to be scanned in colour mode and at a resolution of 300dpi or 600dpi if the original is very small. You can post a file size of up to just below 500kbs.
There is a helpful tutorial at the top of the page to guide you through the process. If you get stuck...just ask.

Hi Nikkie, as Carol says your photo is very small. In case you can't get a better copy, I have had a go at restoring it. Of course if you can rescan you will get lots of better results.

I am back and i did find the original.  I just hope it scanned at the appropriate dpi.  By the way thanks for all the restorations tries.
