Thanks, I don't think his could be the case as I have covered all the Wetherill marriages. Looking at the census, it's looking like Robert Edgar's parents were Robert and Elizabeth.
One thing I have noticed is that I have Edgar's gravestone inscription and He has been put down as just Edgar Isherwood, also he died in 1960 at the age of 71 making his birth year 1889. Maybe they dropped the Robert as he was known as Edgar.

Mother:   Elizabeth Isherwood

My father's name was Reginald John but as he was always known as John we took the decision to just have John recorded on his grave

Thank you for these BMD'S. I haven't yet found a link between the Wetherills maybe they lived in the same area.
