Fife to Llangollen!!!
« on: Sunday 30 August 15 21:01 BST (UK) »
A rather different query!!!!!!
If I'm living in the Cupar/Kemback area in the mid to late 1840s, how would I get to Llangollen in North Wales??
and secondly  why would I go to Llangollen to be a servant in a big house????!!!!

possibly by sea from Glasgow. Why? Better prospects, possibly.

I have family who moved from Scotland Well to the Rhondda Valley in South Wales in the mid 1850s & they went by sea from Glasgow.
