Jefferies
« on: Sunday 30 August 15 23:12 BST (UK) »
I am helping a friend look for his 1/2 brother. G Jefferies was born in 1930's in Bedfordshire.Mother Norah Kathleen M Johnson, father George PG Jefferies. I've been told that G. was in the Army but I can't find any record of it.I can't find a marriage or a death record. He had a brother,B A,born 1930's who became a policeman in Manchester.
Any ideas where I should look?

I've been told that G****d was in the Army but I can't find any record of it.

For anybody serving in the Armed Forces after 1920, all service records are still with the MOD.

The birth registration states Jeffries - Current online electoral register entries give a couple of mentions of this name with correct initial.  Freebmd also has a possible marriage.
