Hi, I have a civil marriage record for Thomas Guilfoyle and Catherine Peters who were married on 20th April 1872. His address is Callan and hers is Black Stone Bridge Kells. Under parish it says Kilkenny District 2, would anyone know which parish this might be in Kilkenny?

Thank you for that information.
As I said Thomas & Catherine were my grand parents. They had my father who was Denis Guilfoyel born 1887, Mary born 1874, John 1879, Michael 1881, Thomas 1885 aprox, Laurance 1886 aprox & Bridget 1890 aprox. They also had 4 other children that died before 1911.

Hi All:  I am researching Bridget Fitzpatrick and Joseph Peters as they are my husband's Great, Great, Great Grandparents.  The only information I have is their son Joseph Peters b. 1863.  Any info is appreciated.

Earliest baptism i could find was 1848 for children of Joseph Peters and Bridget Fitzpatrick
1 Mary 26th June 1848 possibly died as an infant
2 Smudged ink blot 5th July ? 1854
3 Bridget 12th May 1856
4 Honora 6th June ? 1858
5 Mary 4th June 1860
6 Joseph Nov 1863
There may be others i missed

interesting to note on the Thomas Guilfoyle / Catherine Peters marriage, Catherine gives her age as 20 but does not name her father
