Bonjour Cyrille, My name is Pam Barnes, I am the granddaughter of Frederick and Helen Barnes. My father is Fred and Helen's youngest child. Thank you so much for caring for his grave, it is nice to know someone is taking care of him after all these years and thank you for trying to find his family there is quite a few of us. Yes, my gramma Helen remarried and had two more children with her new husband. They raised 10 kids between them. Grandma Helen died in 1987 of coronary heart disease and her son Gordon died of the same 10 years earlier. Much of the family still lives in the Brantford/Woodstock area. They are going to be ecstatic to learn that he hasn't been forgotten and is being taken care of. I can't wait to tell them. Again thank you and feel free to contact me with any questions of the family.

Hi Cyrille, no I've been to the grave but am making plans to fly there and do so and I'd love to meet you and thank you in person. I'll contact you with details of that when they are made. I sent you an email about the family at the email address you have me. Please let me know if you have received it. Again I thank you and Sandra and this site as does the entire Barnes family
  Take care, Pam Barnes Dietz
