T Bailey would appear to be Thomas Walter Bailey born in Risby in 1899 (birth registered Sept.qtr.), son of Ben and Florence.

He joined the navy as a boy on 26/11/1915 with first ship being Ganges.   On 6/7/1917 he signed on for 12 years and duly served until 1929.

His death registered in March quarter 1972 in Leicester (birth date given as 6th July 1899 which ties in with birth entry).

I then found him in a tree on ancestry which shows he married a Ruby King Rose on 3/9/1966 London (Camberwell) and died on 23rd March 1972 Market Harborough, Leicestershire.   His wife (some 18 years younger than him) remarried after his death and she died in 1993.   I wonder whether this was his only marriage or perhaps he had been married before as he was 67 when he married Ruby.
