Looking for Marriage of Philip Clarke and Catherine Soraghan in Dunslaughlin
« on: Thursday 03 September 15 00:18 BST (UK) »
Looking for marriage records for Philip Clarke (1813) born in the parish of Dunslaughlin, and Catherine Soraghan/Sorahon. John's parents were John Clarke and Mary Laney. Philip and Catherine  had about 7 children, Andrew, Ann, Ellen, John, Mary, Philip and James. Andrew is the eldest and the only one born in Ireland in 1845.

I am also looking for Philip's brother Patrick (1812). I have so far found Philip's other siblings, John, Mary and  Rose all born in Dunslaughlin. The name Merriman features as a witness for many of the baptisms. Any information will be helpful.

Did you know about the Catholic Parish Registers recently put online?

Marriages usually take place in the bride's church so it might be worth checking records for neighbouring parishes.
