Dear Listers

I am trying to find out more about ANN ROBERTS (nee Dungey)

I believe she married JOHN ROBERTS 12.10.1779 at Mawgan in Pydar.

Not sure when she or John were born or when/where they died as the family then seemed to move to the St Austell area?

Any help gratefully appreciated

The marriage is on Cornwall OPC Database, and says:

Married 12th October 1779 at Mawgan in Pydar
John Roberts, residing at St Austle (sic) to Ann Dungey

No other details.


There are a number of burials for John Roberts, in and around St Austell!
But this one looks good?

7th June 1830, at St Austell, John Roberts, 73, of Charlestown

I can see 2 possible baptisms for John (also on Cornwall OPC Database):

18th April 1749, at St Austell, John Roberts son of Matthew and Elizabeth

10th June 1751, at St Austell, John Roberts son of Lewis and Grace
